Derrick Rose Breaks Ankles

I have been reading a lot about how great Derrick Rose is.  Since I havent had the chance to watch him play yet, I went to YouTube to find some videos.  Check these out.  Rose has a killer crossover.

Random Thought: To find an embeddable sports clip, my fist instinct was to go to youtube.  Is the NBA doing anything to get people to use NBA.com instead?  If not, they should.

For an NBA blogger you sure seem to miss a lot of the action. Do you actually watch any of the games? or just look for stats online after the fact?

Suggestion: Buy the NBA league pass, that way you can actually watch the games before you blog about them.

Your blogging is the equivalent of doing a book report without reading the book.

You are the “Cliffs Note’s Blogger”.

I think the NBA has done a pretty good job of making their clips available online. Their YouTube channel is pretty well developed with daily highlights. Of course theres tons of plays that go unposted every day but the selection is always pretty good. To be honest, I’ve been impressed that they have embraced putting up so much video so quickly.

    Tom,

Thanks for the comment. My point about the NBA and YouTube was that I instinctively go to youtube for NBA video clips instead of NBA.com. NBA.com does have a video section, which means video is important to them. I’m just wondering if there is a way that they can change my instincts of going to youtube first for an nba video.
